Hello, thank you for visiting this page.  I've created this to document my sailing experiences so skippers have a point of reference to the kind of sailor I am and the sailing adventures I am creating.

2023 goals

For 2023 and beyond, I'd like to sail outside of the Golden Gate in the open ocean.  

Pacific Cup

Transpac

Day sails to Farallon Islands, HMB, SC, Monterey.

Multi-day sail.

Southern California to the Channel Islands.

San Diego to Mexico.

The Baja ha-ha

In Mexico down the coast.

Puddle jump or a leg in a longer ocean passage

Sailing Resume

2022

My focus in 2022 is skippering in the San Francisco Bay  I sail nearly every other weekend out of Marina Bay in Point Richmond.  I have skippered the following models of vessels.

Beneteau First 22, 31, 323, 35, 37, First 40, and 43.

Catalina Capri-22, 38, 42

Freedom 39

Hunter 34, 38.

Islander 36

Jeanneau 40.
 

May 2022. 10 days.  Wauquiez Amphitrite 43.  Miami North Beach to Kay Biscayne and surrounding waters.

Sep 2021 Croatia.  Lagoon 40.  Two weeks.

July 2018 San Juan Islands, Victoria.  Oceanis 41, 12 days.

June 2012 Sun Odyssey 42.  Greek Cyclades Islands. 12 days.

2009-2011 Friday night races out of BYC. 3 seasons.

So far, I've sailed various places totaling about 300 days.

Other interests

I am a PADI Certified Dive Master.

I also enjoy hang gliding, skiing, learning languages and cooking.

Availability

I am available by arrangement during the week, most weekends and for longer passages with three week notice.
